Except for very rare occasions, the answer is "no".  With over 90% of home buyers searching for their home on the internet, Grant Wiebe has chosen to invest his time and money in marketing his listings to more than 90% of home buyers, rather than to less than 10% of them.  He does this by investing in things like: RutlandHomes.ca, professional listing photography, social media marketing (youtube, facebook, twitter, etc), Google Adwords, and other online advertising (craigslist, castanet, kijiji, openhousekelowna, etc).  These days, the newspaper is the easiest way for REALTORS to expose their listings to the fewest real buyers while still giving their clients the impression that their home is being advertised (please understand, this is Grant's personal opinion).
